Get on your bike – or scooter, skateboard, trike, balance bike, tandem, penny farthing, unicycle, roller skates – and become a Solving Kids' Cancer hero!

The eighth edition of Prudential RideLondon was due to take place on 15 and 16 August 2020, and while the festival can’t go ahead as planned, the event organisers want to keep the wheels moving and celebrate the event weekend by encouraging people to get on their bikes for charity.

My Prudential RideLondon is your chance to take part in the world’s greatest festival of cycling, wherever you live and with whoever you like. It’s your ride, your way.

How do I sign up?

You can register for My Ride London here and pick your distance. You are invited to complete one (or more!) of four challenges over the weekend of 15th – 16th August:

  • My Ride 19 miles
My Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 19 (cycle only) is a 19-mile ride for modest riders in search of a challenge

  • My Ride 46 miles
My Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 (cycle only) is a 46-mile ride for riders who want to push the boundaries.

  • My Ride 100 miles
My Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 (cycle only) is a 100-mile ride for riders who want to go all-out.

  • Freecycle
My Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle is for cyclists and riders of other non-motorised wheels who want to set their own distance of 1km or more

(If you are under 18, please check age restrictions here on the My Ride London website for the 19, 46 and 100-mile events.)

Riders of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in My Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle, which can be any distance and should suit your skills and the type of wheels you have – whether it’s 20 times round the block on your roller skates or a lap of the local park on your scooter.

Fundraising

Use this challenge to raise money for Solving Kids' Cancer and our fight for a future where no child dies of the childhood cancer neuroblastoma or suffers due to its treatment.

While COVID-19 has not stopped us from continuing our vital work so far, it has had a big impact on our ability to raise the much-needed funds that support our work. We need your support now more than ever, so would hugely appreciate you taking on this incredible challenge to raise funds for us.

Once you’ve signed up on the My Ride London website, we encourage you to set up an online fundraising page to let your friends and family know what an amazing thing you’re doing and how they can support you.

My Ride London app

Shortly before the event you will be able to download the My Ride London app where you can track and log your ride over the weekend. Once you’ve finished you’ll be able to download and print your personalised finisher certificate. You can also use the selfie frames to create your own finisher photographs in the spectacular setting of The Mall, the finish of Prudential RideLondon. Your family and friends can track your progress on your challenge in real time by following you on the app – it will show your position on the actual Prudential RideLondon course as if you were riding on the roads of London and Surrey.

Please note, participants are asked to follow current Government guidelines on cycling. For more information, click here.
