Generosity of an anonymous donor benefits children with cancer Thanks to an anonymous and generous donor, children’s cancer charities including Solving Kids’ Cancer have benefited from the sale of a valuable sculpture. Called ‘The Boy with the Dolphin’ by David Wynne it was auctioned recently at Christie’s for an amazing £80,000! The money will be split between our charity and other great causes Abbie’s Army, Chelsea’s Angels, Children’s Cancer Charity and Alice’s Escapes. We are hugely grateful for this immensely kind donation which will help us support families and children with neuroblastoma and fund ground-breaking research. The statue is one of the few ‘sixth of the size’ versions created by the artist, with the full size one standing just by the edge of the River Thames, next to Albert Bridge in Chelsea, London.
