Following the successful delivery of our 2017/18 Annual Report and 2018 Neuroblastoma Parent Education Conference, Joey Tabone has stepped down as Chair of the Board of Trustees, a position he has held since November 2016.

The Board of Trustees is delighted that Nick Bird (pictured) has agreed to take on this important role for an initial two-year term until November 2020.

Nick has been a Trustee since 2016 and has a long-standing association with the charity. Joey will remain a member of the Board alongside Matt White, Bron Ellis and David Coulon as Solving Kids’ Cancer continues its work to support children and families affected by neuroblastoma.

“I am honoured to step into this position and will continue to do everything possible to fight for a future where no child dies of this childhood cancer,” says Nick Bird.

“On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Joey for his hard work and dedication and I’m pleased he will continue to contribute to our growing charity.”
