How can I fundraise for neuroblastoma treatment outside of the NHS?
Choosing to fundraise for treatment outside of the NHS is a deeply personal decision. It will depend on many factors, including your child’s individual circumstances as well as what feels right for your family.
Your child’s clinical team is best placed to support you in making decisions about treatment, including whether travelling overseas for treatment is appropriate.
Fundraising for treatment can feel incredibly daunting. It involves understanding what is required, planning, committing time and effort to raising funds, as well as having a safe and transparent way to manage donations. If you’ve already decided you’d like to start fundraising or are wondering how to go about it, we hope the information here will be helpful.

Our approach
Solving Kids’ Cancer UK does not encourage or promote access to treatment outside of the NHS. We also do not provide medical advice, determine treatment plans, or make clinical recommendations. All medical decisions, including whether treatments outside of the NHS should be considered and whether travel overseas is appropriate, should be made with your child’s UK clinical team. However, we understand why some families explore and access treatment that is not available on the NHS, and we support families who choose this path working in partnership with their child’s clinical team.
