A special day for neuroblastoma families to come together, have fun and feel part of a supportive community.
About our Family Fun Day
Our Family Fun Day is a relaxed, welcoming event for families affected by neuroblastoma, centred on fun, connection and shared experiences. Created to be as accessible and inclusive as possible, the day offers families the chance to enjoy time with others who truly understand in a safe and friendly environment.
We usually hold one Family Fun Day each year in the summer. Previous events have taken place at Knebworth Country Park in Hertfordshire.
This event is designed for the whole family - children, parents and carers - and offers the opportunity to connect face‑to‑face with others in the neuroblastoma community.
What the day offers
Each Family Fun Day includes a range of activities for all ages and interests, which may include:
- outdoor games, sports and family activities
- craft and creative stations
- music, dancing or relaxed entertainment
- space to chat with other families and the Solving Kids’ Cancer UK team
- child‑friendly spaces to play and explore
- quiet areas for rest and downtime
- fun extras such as photobooths or goody bags
Where possible, specialist partners and supporters join us to lead activities, including sports sessions, games or interactive experiences, helping to make the day even more special.
Food and refreshments are provided, giving families the chance to relax and enjoy the day without worry.

For many families, it is one of the few opportunities to be together with others who truly “get it,” while children enjoy a day focused purely on play, joy and togetherness.
