Post-Treatment Coaching Programme
A virtual coaching programme for parents after their child’s neuroblastoma treatment, offering support, practical tools and space to reflect on their experiences and navigate life beyond treatment.
About the Coaching Programme
Our Post-Treatment Coaching Programme has been specifically created for parents and carers whose child has completed treatment for neuroblastoma. It offers gentle, structured support to enhance emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience, and to help parents reflect on what they have been through and think about how to move forward.

Joining the programme: what to expect
This free, six‑week virtual programme offers confidential, 2‑hour group sessions each week delivered by members of our Family Support Team who are also trained life coaches. The sessions combine key coaching themes to support different aspects of wellbeing through and beyond the transition from treatment.
The programme is designed to help parents:
- reflect on the impact of treatment
- understand changes in identity and priorities
- explore fears or uncertainties
- process emotions
- think about work, purpose and the future
- connect with others who understand
- move towards a sense of stability after treatment ends
To help you understand how the programme runs, here’s what to expect before, during and after taking part:

During the programme
The programme is delivered virtually (via Zoom) during the day, for 2 hours per week over six weeks.
Below is a short overview of the themes explored in our most recent programme. Future programmes may vary slightly based on feedback:
- Transition from hospital to home - exploring the shift from structured treatment to daily life after treatment and creating space to check in with your emotions and needs as routines change.
- Identity and wellbeing - reflecting on who you are after your child’s treatment, understanding personal values and needs, and creating a realistic self‑care plan.
- Fear of relapse and managing emotions - acknowledging worries about relapse, exploring thought patterns, and learning tools to support emotional regulation and wellbeing.
- Late effects and child wellbeing - considering late effects, advocacy and your child’s wellbeing, and building strategies to feel more resourceful and supported.
- Work and purpose - reflecting on work, confidence and purpose after treatment, and exploring how internal dialogue shapes your wellbeing.
- Visioning and moving forward - exploring life after treatment, reviewing areas of satisfaction, and creating a gentle vision for the future that aligns with your values and priorities.

Once the six‑week programme ends, our Family Support Team continues to offer support through peer‑to‑peer networks, events, and follow‑up check‑ins.
