About the fund and how we can help

The fund is available to support a child or young person’s physical or emotional welfare (up to £250 per year) and to support families in bereavement with funeral and associated costs (up to £500).

The Big Love fund is for any family across the UK and Ireland affected by neuroblastoma. The charity actively encourages anyone who is unsure of whether they meet the funding criteria to make a direct enquiry to the team at [email protected]

APPLICATION FORM

Section 1 - About the person making the grant application

If you are making the application for your family please provide the name and institution of your CNS. If you are not able to provide this, please send evidence, e.g. a letter from your treating centre to [email protected]

You can apply for a Big Love Fund grant more than once if you have not already applied for the total amount in the first instance.

Please identify the bank account to which the funds should be paid if granted.

Section 5 - Keeping in touch about our work

We would like to add you to our mailing list to keep in touch with you about our work furthering vital research, supporting families, and raising awareness. We will let you know about different fundraising events and initiatives including our children’s campaigns. We will always keep your details safe and will never share them with other organisations for their own marketing purposes.

Section 6 - Our Family Support Service

There are many ways SKC’s Family Support Service can help families affected by Neuroblastoma which includes emotional and practical support.

What Happens Next?

Within 2 working days from receipt of your application, a member of Solving Kids’ Cancer’s Family Support Team will send you an acknowledgment email.

We aim to follow up with a second email and/or telephone call with any further queries and/or to confirm the outcome of your application within 5 working days.
