Our people

We have a dedicated and passionate staff team, supported by a committed Board of Trustees, expert advisors and active volunteers, all of whom contribute to our work and ensure we remain focused on our mission.  Everything we do is informed by the voice of the child and parent and we have parents/carers with lived experience at every level of our charity – from the Trustees, to our leadership team, wider staff group, and volunteers.

Solving Kids' Cancer UK is a safeguarding charity, which means that we prioritise the safety and well-being of the children and families we support. All of our staff and trustees attend mandatory safeguarding training and our volunteers, ambassadors and patrons are also subject to the requirements set out within our safeguarding policy. All of the work we do to support our families and how we recruit people to our team, is underpinned by robust safeguarding policies and procedures.
