Kate's first marathon
I'm fundraising in support of the Big Love Fund with Solving Kids’ Cancer UK, which provides financial grants to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of children and young people affected by neuroblastoma in the UK.

Why I'm fundraising
Well, I never thought I would be running a marathon!! I did mention to a few people that I’d try and do one before my 50th year on this planet but at 37, I have come to realise how very precious life is and that we’re only here for a very short time.
Unfortunately, for many children, their lives have been cut even shorter because of this horrible disease and I want to try and raise as much money as possible to stop the pain and sadness that cancer causes especially to young children and their families.
Please donate what you can to this fantastic charity… and wish me luck… I think I’ll need it!

The Big Love Fund
The Big Love Fund provides financial grants to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of children and young people affected by neuroblastoma in the UK. This special fund has been inspired by Luke Wiltshire. Luke was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was 14 years old. He sadly passed away in 2021 at the age of 23.
