Last year's event...

Solving Kids' Cancer Christmas Carol Concert 2023 (Highlights)

We packed out Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square, London, for last year's event and £25,600 was raised for children and their families affected by neuroblastoma.

We had a range of performers, including the renowned London Show Choir and the cast and crew of EastEnders, as well as a poem performed by one of the children supported by the charity. We also presented our very special Hero Awards to those in the community who made a real difference in 2023.

One of the highlights was undoubtedly a performance from the incredible Louis Moorhouse and fellow blind musician Sirine Jahangir.

Louis was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma when he was 18 months old. He had a primary tumour on his adrenal gland and another tumour in his nasal cavity.

The tumour in his nasal cavity crushed his optic nerve leaving him permanently blind and the toxic side effects of treatment also left Louis partially deaf too. Despite having difficulties as a result of neuroblastoma, this incredible young man has not let this hold him back.

After getting his first keyboard aged eight and going to mainstream primary and secondary schools, he has recently finished university with a degree in music production and is enjoying his work as a mixing engineer.

It was an absolute privilege to have Louis perform at the concert, and we're so grateful to him and Sirine for being a part of it.

Watch their performance below.

Christmas Carol Concert 2023

This was our first in-person carol concert for three years and it did not disappoint.

We were joined by none other than the EastEnders cast who formed their own choir and gave a brilliant performance. They even stayed behind at the end to meet guests and take plenty of selfies.

We had some magical performances from the London Show Choir and the London Oratory School Chamber Choir, which left everyone feeling warm and festive. And we also celebrated some of our heroes of 2022 who had such a positive impact on the neuroblastoma community during the year.

Thank you to our 2023 supporters
