A highlight in the Solving Kids’ Cancer UK calendar

Join us on Tuesday 5 December at Holy Trinity Sloane Square in London for our annual Christmas Carol Concert. There are some special guests already confirmed and soon to be announced on this page, so stay tuned!

This event is an evening of hope and celebration, and always a night to remember. We will have a range of performers, including the renowned London Show Choir and the cast and crew of EastEnders, as well as festive readings by children we support. Each year we also present our very special Hero Awards, where families we support nominate those in the community who have made a real difference. There is plenty of Christmas cheer too, including our luxury raffle, complimentary mince pies and mulled wine, and the opportunity to sing your heart out to your favourite carols!

We would like to brighten your festive season by inviting you to this unmissable event. Tickets are now on sale soon and, by buying a ticket, you'll be joining the fight for a future where no child dies of neuroblastoma or suffers due to the treatment they receive.

Last year's event...

This was our first in-person carol concert for three years and it did not disappoint.

We were joined by none other than the EastEnders cast who formed their own choir and gave a brilliant performance. They even stayed behind at the end to meet guests and take plenty of selfies.

We had some magical performances from the London Show Choir and the London Oratory School Chamber Choir, which left everyone feeling warm and festive. And we also celebrated some of our heroes of 2022 who had such a positive impact on the neuroblastoma community during the year.

Christmas Carol Concert 2021

Our second virtual Carol Concert took place on 16 December 2021, and we welcomed 180 households to the event.

Five Solving Kids’ Cancer UK Hero Awards were presented to some very special people in the neuroblastoma community. The winners were: Carol Benbow; Rainbow Ward, North Middlesex Hospital; 2K and Firaxis, Emma Rees and Michelle Collins.

There were stunning performances from the likes of The Jupiter Singers, Astræa, London Oratory School Chamber Choir and the cast of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical. Our Patron, Rob Brydon, also performed exclusively alongside His Fabulous Band.

Christmas Carol Concert 2020

In December 2020, we welcomed over 700 people to our first virtual Christmas Carol Concert. We also welcomed several household names, including the London Oratory School Chamber Choir, singer Astræa, harpist Valeria Kurbatova, opera singer and ‘Go Compare’ star Wynne Evans and UK number one singer Newton Faulkner and comedians Josh Widdicombe and Matt Richardson.

The evening also celebrated the NHS and five awards were given out on the night to extraordinary doctors, nurses, and hospital wards.

The event raised over £21,000 for the charity and, after what had been a very challenging year, the concert delivered an evening of joy, hope and some much-needed festive spirit.
