Ruben Hage to support Solving Kids’ Cancer UK during his 2023 Ginetta GT Championship campaign

Solving Kids’ Cancer UK is proud to announce that this year it is partnering with Ruben Hage during his 2023 Ginetta GT Championship campaign.

Nottingham-based Ruben is a talented driver who has already had success across many different motorsport disciplines at the age of just 18 years old, and has demonstrated continual progression through the junior ranks of British motorsport.

In 2022, he competed in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge where he achieved sixth overall in the championship and was on the podium on just his second race weekend.

Ruben feels that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to compete and race at national level in the Ginetta GT Championship, and hopes to be able to use his unique position to give back to Solving Kids’ Cancer UK.

The newly-announced partnership will see the Solving Kids’ Cancer UK logo feature on Ruben’s Ginetta G56 GT Pro car and alongside the Solving Kids’ Cancer UK team, families who are supported by the charity will be invited along to the Ginetta GT Championship race weekends throughout the year to enjoy an unforgettable family day out and create lasting memories.

On working with Solving Kids’ Cancer UK, Ruben said: “I feel very lucky to be doing what I love and racing in the Ginetta GT Championship, thanks to the support of my partners, and my position as a racing driver gives me a unique opportunity to access a large audience of motorsport fans across the UK and beyond.

“I want to use this opportunity to give back, which is why I’m extremely proud to be working with Solving Kids’ Cancer UK this year, to help them raise awareness of the reality of the childhood cancer neuroblastoma and help them advocate for change.”

“I was immediately drawn to the incredible work that the Solving Kids’ Cancer UK team do, giving crucial support to families affected by neuroblastoma, and I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to invite some of these families along to my race weekends to give them a unique family day out at the track.”

“Ruben will help us reach new audiences and increase awareness of neuroblastoma and the need to improve outcomes for families. We’re also grateful to him for generously inviting families to join him on race weekends, which will give children and young people something to look forward to during difficult times. We can’t wait to follow Ruben’s progress during the season and see the impact of his support on families affected by neuroblastoma.”
